1 PPAF Continued Support to School Project 01.07.2021 30.06.2024 Recently in continuation of PPAF-Education project (April 2019-June 2021), Baanhn Beli - Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) signed MoU under PPAF Education ‘Continued Support to School Project’ for the period of three years from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024. Under this project 10 Community Managed Girls Primary Schools will be supported in three union councils (Nagarparkar, Peethapur and Veerawah) of taluka Nagarparkar, District Tharparkar. The project is focused on provision of access to quality education to for vulnerable communities and contributing towards SGD and national goal of education. This aims at sensitizing communities to strengthen their educational intuitions and play their role in improving the quality of education they provide. 2 Dharti Amar Project 01.11.2021 31.10.2022 In Sindh, Baanhn Beli in collaboration with Pathfinder International will implement “Strengthening Women, Girls and Communities to adapt and respond to climate change” (Dharti Ammar-WR-CC) Project reaching 60 farmer Families in the area of Nagarparkar, District Tharparkar to accomplish the project objective. Under the project, following the trainings, the participants will develop Roll Out of Action Plan by delivering one day session in the community. Baanhn Beli will ensure that during all in-person events, all the proper COVID-19 precautions and SOPs enforced by the government will be followed. Project Goal: Women and Girls resilience to Drought has increased, with system and practices in place that promote climate adaptive practices, including demand for/access to SRH services. 3 Women’s Enjoyment of Rights, Empowerment and Leadership February, 2020 Feb, 2023 Baanhn Beli implemening, Women’s Enjoyment of Rights, Empowerment and Leadership (WE’RE Leaders) project in Karachi-Malir District.  The project’s goal is to enhance women’s political participation in Pakistan, particularly focusing on the young, and the marginalized. The programme focuses to engage and orient citizens (including young women leaders, citizen group members, volunteers, and women councilors) on gender-sensitive, raise awareness for prevention of COVID-19 and facilitate citizens’ especially women’s, access to relief programs announced by the government. 5 Electoral Quality and Inclusiveness in Pakistan (EQuIP) 1-Mar-21  June 2023 Baanhn Beli implemening, Electoral Quality and Inclusiveness in Pakistan (EQuIP) project in Sindh Province with the support of TDEA, aims to analyze and improve nationwide election observation in Pakistan. Through analytical services, including an expert technical review of Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) observation methodologies, DI is supporting non-partisan local Pakistan-based civil society organizations to objectively and methodically observe election processes.
